Pavlos Marinakis was born in Patras in 1988 and is a graduate of the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace. He works as a lawyer, specializing in Criminal Law. He became active in DAP-NDFK and ONNED during his student years and was elected President of ONNED in 2019. In 2021, he was elected Secretary of the Political Committee of New Democracy. Since 2023, he has served as Government Spokesperson and, since January 2024, as Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, responsible for the Press and Media.
