Apostolos Maggiriadis was born in Thessaloniki. He studied Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Athens and completed postgraduate studies in International Relations and Journalism at Columbia University in New York. For many years, he has covered political and diplomatic affairs and has worked for the television stations MEGA, SKAI and ERT, as well as for the newspapers Ta Nea and Kathimerini. At ERT, he presented the main evening news bulletin and the programs Epilogos and ERT Talks. In September 2026, he returned to SKAI, taking over the presentation of the midday news bulletin.
