Theodoros Roussopoulos is a Member of Parliament and President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe for the 2024–2026 term, becoming the first Greek to be elected to this position. He worked in journalism for two decades and was a founding and senior executive of Athens 9.84 and Mega. He served as Minister of State and Government Spokesperson. He holds a PhD in History from the University of Edinburgh and is Professor of Communication at the European University Cyprus.
